Tuesday’s Random Beauty

A Martha Washington geranium that’s blooming in the living room window.  I spent a good hour taking pictures of it.  Very restful.

  1. Oh my goodness, that is a breathtaking flower! I’ve never seen one like that. I am betting we can’t get them in Texas …

  2. Oh, I’m sure you can get them in TX, Gail. I think they’re a pretty common variety of geranium. Check around.

I have to keep throwing away pieces that get broken by wagging dog tails. Too bad I can’t send them to you.

  3. Hmm, I’ve never seen a geranium that color before, only pink, red and white around here. I usually buy my flowers to pot in the spring at a local produce place that has really nice flowers and plants, and then sometimes I go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. I’ll have to ask about them when I start shopping this year. I LOVE purple flowers, especially mixed with yellow or orange or red.
